COVID-19 Pandemic Level 2 operating information

At Pandemic Red light, we are now able to welcome you back through the doors at Real Fresh. We are also able to offer both delivery or click and collect as an option.

Delivery of seafood will be available to the Gisborne region, from Muriwai to Pouawa same day delivery or next day for outside of the Gisborne region.

See below for all our operating procedures.

Shop drop in:

Our opening hours are 9am – 5:00pm weekdays. So, if you have a little time feel free to drop in to select your seafood in person.  For a speedier pick up, please consider ordering on-line and selecting the pickup option at checkout.

In store, our customer numbers are strictly limited to Four at any one time. There are markings on the ground both inside and outside the shop to indicate appropriate physical distance to be kept.

A one-way flow for customers has also been put in place to limit potential contact.  You will enter in the front door and leave from the side door. Again, markings on the floor will show you the way.

Contactless payment is encouraged and physical distance between staff and customers will be maintained by physical barriers such as counters.

We will also be adhering to the MOH guideline for traceability and if you are a drop in customer, you will need to use the COVID tracing app or register your name and contact details in store. We will also be scanning your vaccination pass. If you do not have a pass then we are still able to serve you from the front window.

Order online

If you are a new customer you will need to “create an account”. You will find this option just above the CART button at the top right of the shop screen.  This can be done before or after you have selected products in your cart.  You will be sent a confirmation email to the email address you have entered, you must verify your email before continuing.

Delivery:

Local

Place your order before 12pm for same day delivery and select the delivery option at checkout.  We will deliver to your home from 1pm weekdays.  If orders are placed after 12pm, orders will be delivered the following day. For orders placed after midday on Friday, orders will be delivered the following Monday.

To reduce our environmental footprint and to minimize our delivery fee, we will not be supplying chiller packs.  Your product will be kept chilled to your driveway and we recommend that you leave a chilly bin out by your letterbox for us to place your seafood into.  We will contact you to notify you of delivery so please ensure that you include your phone number in your order details.

Please ensure all dogs are secured.

Outside Gisborne

Orders will be delivered via courier the next day from Monday to Thursday. Please make sure you use the shipping option in the check out. 

Click and collect:

If you are keen for a snappy drop in option without a delivery fee, consider ordering your seafood online to pick up from our Real Fresh store. 

Simply select your products and when you are at the checkout, select to pick up.  Please include your phone number in your order details so that we can contact you when your order is ready. You will also receive a confirmation email in case you do not have a phone, expect this to take up to 1 hour between order placement and fulfilment. We will have your order ready and waiting in our chillers for you to pick up from the front window of our shop. Your order must be picked up before 5pm.

If you place your order after 4pm, your order will be available the following working day. This will be Monday if you place an order after 4pm on Friday.

When picking up your order, please remember to wear a face covering, keep 2m from staff and other customers at all times.  It is now a requirement to use the COVID tracing app and we request that only two customers enter the store at one time.  Signage in-store will help you navigate this.

Phone orders

We are unable to take phone orders at this time.  You have the option of calling into store or ordering on-line.  If you are having difficulty ordering using this website, please feel free to call us for assistance.  Our team will endeavor to answer your call but please be patient and considerate. If there is no reply, leave a message and our team will call you back as soon as possible.
